Elise Longley was the highest finisher among Jefferson cross country runners at the Bauman/Rovn Cross Country Invitational Sept. 4 at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista. Longley, a sophomore, covered the 4K course in a 34th-place time of 16 minutes, 22.8 seconds.
