The Eden Prairie Players will put on several showings of “Honk!,” a delightful musical adaptation of one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved fables. It’s a new take on the classic ugly duckling story.
Performances will take place nightly at 7 p.m. June 16-18, and June 22-25. The musical will be staged at Staring Lake Amphitheatre, 14800 Pioneer Trail in Eden Prairie.
There is no cost to attend, and the Eden Prairie Mobile Cafe will be selling a variety of snacks and beverages. Attendees should bring lawn chairs and come early for the best seating. Parking past the lots at Staring Lake Park is available on the south side of Pioneer Trail at Flying Cloud Fields.
The production, sponsored by Kinderberry Hill and Lions Tap, is directed by Stephen Houtz, choreographed by Brianna Belland and has Melissa Warhol as music director. Call 952-949-8305 for weather-related performance cancellations.
