Letter: Thanks to Richfield Human Rights commission for Holocaust remembrance

To the editor:

I would like to congratulate and thank the entire Richfield Human Rights Commission for their outstanding work in recognition of Holocaust Memorial Day. Their varied programming and timing allowed for every member of our community to be able to participate in at least one activity at Augsburg Park Library during the week.

The calendar of events had appeal to people who were well-versed about the Holocaust and those who were willing to have their eyes, minds, and hearts opened to the message of “never forget” for the first time. This is the kind of sensitive and inclusive programming that exemplifies Richfield’s commitment to inclusiveness and welcome to all.
