Jefferson boys soccer meeting
Jefferson boys’ soccer booster club will host an informational meeting at the JHS south lunch room on Wednesday, May 24 at 7 p.m. Players may attend but one parent from each player family is requested to help collect player and parent contact info to stay in contact over the summer. Jefferson cross country meeting May 25
Jefferson cross country will host a preseason meeting in the Media Center at Jefferson High School at 6:30 p.m. May 25. Parents and students grades seven-12 interested in participating in the fall should attend. Topics include registration info, summer training, meet and practice info and booster club activities. Jags girls soccer camp
The 2017 Jags Summer Camp is set for June 12-15 from 9-11:30 a.m. for girls entering fourth through eighth grade at Jefferson High School grass fields. Jefferson girls soccer head coach Steve Vuolo runs the camp with the assistance of players from the high school program. The Jefferson girls soccer program will host its inaugural alumni game from 6-8 p.m., Monday, August 21 at the Jefferson turf field.

Free sports physicals
Registration opens June 5 for a spot at one of eight Twin Cities Orthopedics locations. Physicals are available July 24-27 (Jule 24 in Waconia and Otsego; July 25 in Edina and Coon Rapids; July 26 in Maple Grove and Lake Elmo; July 27 in Burnsville, Eden Prairie. Info: TCO.mn.com/SportsPhysicals

Golf tourney to benefit girls hockey June 23
Bloomington Girls Hockey Club/Jefferson girls hockey is hosting the first golf tournament to help raise funds for the program at Dwan Golf Course, Friday, June 23. Check-in is 10:45 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. Fee is $100 per player and $400 per foursome and includes cart, 18 holes and dinner reception or $35 for dinner only. All abilities welcome. Jefferson girls lacrosse summer camp
Jefferson girls lacrosse will host a city-wide summer camp for girls in kindergarten-eighth grade from 9-11:30 a.m. June 19-21 on the Jefferson High School turf field. Campers will work on lacrosse skills, drills, shooting, mechanics and more. Goalie coaching will be available and the camp is open to experienced and new players with the $60 fee including a t-shirt. Women’s tennis league

Kennedy youth football camp set
Bloomington Kennedy football will host its annual youth football camp (grades 3-8) at the high school turf field from 2-4 p.m. July 24-25. Cost is $20. The Kennedy coaching staff along with current and former players will run the non-contact camp where fundamentals and technique is the focus on all three phases of the game. Camps will get instruction related to the position they would like to work on as well as kicking, returning and long snapping. Campers will also work on fundamentals that will help keep them safe. Equipment to bring: athletic shoes or cleats, shorts and a t-shirt and a water bottle. Fastpitch clinic set
Bloomington Fastpitch Association will host a clinic at Dred Scott and Kelly Fields, 10 a.m. to noon, June 12-14. Cost is $65 with varsity coaches Jim Hanson and Jim Leicht leading players grouped by 8-and-10-year-olds and 12U-and-up. Info: bloomingtonfastpitchmn.org.

High School Volleyball camp July 10-12
Members of the St. Cloud State volleyball program will run a high school camp (grades 9-12) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (one hour break for lunch), July 10-12 at the Jefferson Activities Center. Registration is $125 and is due before June 15. Info: jeffersonvolleyball.org

Youth volleyball camp
Jefferson coach Crystal Dohlman is organizing a youth camp July 17-19 at the Jefferson Activities Center. Grades 2-5 will meet from 8-10 a.m. ($80 fee). Grades 6-8 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ($90 fee). Registration is open until June 15. Info: jeffersonvolleyball.org

BAA track sign-up
Bloomington boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade can participate in two BAA Citywide track and field meets. No fee or preregistration required. Youth football camps
Jefferson’s Father/Son football camp is set for Saturday, May 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Jefferson practice fields. The camp is open to kids in grades 3-7 and fathers of alll ages. The camp is free and there is no registration.

Jefferson youth football camps
Jefferson head coach Tim Carlson along with current and former Jaguar football players will staff two camps this summer open to boys in grades 3-8.
Quarterback camp is June 13 from 1-3:30 p.m. and a summer camp July 25-27 from 1-3:30 p.m.
Registration for both camps is $75 or $25 for the QB camp and $60 for the summer camp.
