Southdale shows off student art

In a new initiative between Southdale and Art of Edina, the first community gallery was established last week on the first floor of Southdale, near the courtyard entrance to Herberger’s. The gallery features work from local artists and will be displayed for approximately three months. The current artwork is from students at Concord Elementary School. Their art teacher, Elise Schmidt, curated the works for the display. (Sun current staff photos by Sean Plemmons)
