Captain Nathan Burr presented Caribou Coffee in Edina with a certificate and flag Feb. 12, in appreciation of customers at the store donating 208 pounds of coffee during the holiday season to the Minnesota National Guard’s Company C, 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion. The unit was deployed to Afghanistan in July 2012 for a year. The Edina Caribou employees partnered with Support Our Troops volunteers at Beth El Synagogue in St. Louis Park, who packed and shipped the coffee. (Submitted photo)

Our Londonderry/Bren customers rock! – and so do the Beth El Synagogue congregants who contributed the money to ship the coffee to our Minnesota troop in Afghanistan. Thanks for printing the picture and making our efforts known to the Edina community – Linda Tell
