Bloomington fifth-grade Dimensions Academy students received high rankings in their first Knowledge Master Open competition.
With more than 200 fifth-grade teams competing, the academy students recently earned second place in the state and fourth in the nation.
The Knowledge Master Open is designed to stimulate learning and recognize academic achievement. Students answer 100 challenging questions in a variety of subject areas, earning points for the speed and accuracy of their answers. Students must come to a consensus on the answer they submit as a team of 27 members.
The competition is hosted online from the students’ schools twice each school year. The final event for this year will take next month.
