Richfield Dual Language School show: Understanding through dancing

First-graders from Richfield Dual Language School give a fiery performance with the musical number, “La Bandera de Libertad,” during the RDLS Latino American Festival, which was staged in the Richfield High School auditorium before a large crowd of parents Friday, Dec. 21. The festival mimics the goal of RDLS itself in promoting an understanding and appreciation of Latin American cultures. The first-graders made flags to wear around their necks in preparation for the program, which featured a variety of song-and-dance numbers from grades kindergarten through five.
