Dan Fisher
The Eden Prairie junior fullback scored twice on 1-yard runs as the Eagles defeated Wayzata 21-7 in the state Class 6A football semifinals Nov. 16 at the Metrodome. Fisher rushed for 67 yards on 24 carries.
Nick Hanscom
The Eden Prairie resident is a junior defensive back for the Holy Family Catholic football team. Hanscom contributed an interception as the Fire defeated Hill-Murray 27-23 in the state Class 4A quarterfinals Nov. 9.
Connor Johnson
This Eden Prairie senior defensive back set up the Eagles’ third touchdown with an interception during a 21-7 state semifinal victory over Wayzata.
Bre Thorne
This member of the Eden Prairie girls swimming squad achieved a pair of runner-up finishes in the state AA meet Nov. 15-17 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. Thorne was second in the 200-yard individual medley and 100 backstroke events.
Charly Dahlquist
This Eden Prairie sophomore forward scored the winning goal as the Eagles edged Maple Grove 2-1 in non-conference girls hockey action Nov. 10. Eden Prairie has compiled a 3-0-1 record after four games.
Ellie Suek
This Eden Prairie swimmer netted a silver medal in the 200 individual medley at the state AA meet last weekend. Suek was also a member of Eden Prairie’s state championship 200 freestyle relay team.
Tony Anderson
This Eden Prairie junior running back scored on a 10-yard touchdown run in the second quarter as the Eagles defeated Wayzata 21-7 in the state semifinals last week.
