A group of Minnesota Vikings visited students at Partnership Academy in Richfield Tuesday, Sept. 25 to promote physical fitness in conjunction with the NFL’s Play 60 program, and in celebration of NFL Hispanic Heritage Month, which lasts from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. Kicker Blair Walsh, safety Andrew Sendejo and cornerback A.J. Jefferson, along with members of the soccer-focused Sanneh Foundation, put students through a variety of agility drills after speaking of the importance of a college education to the group in the school’s gymnasium. More than 90 percent of Partnership Academy students are Latino.
