On Thursday, September 6, Grace Church in Eden Prairie resumes its weekly Community Care Nights ministry, a night dedicated to providing care, hope, and encouragement to people struggling with any type of life issue.
“Life gets hard sometimes and it is our desire to provide hope and encouragement to struggling, hurting people throughout our community,” said Jon Wright, Grace executive pastor. “We invite our guests to join us for a free meal, inspirational music, great testimonies, and a variety of small groups that offer support in areas such as grief, addiction, depression, betrayal, codependency, sexual purity, boundary problems, as well as some general sharing groups.”
The meals will be served free (donations accepted) from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Teaching and testimonies run from 6-6:30 p.m., live music from 6:30-7 p.m. and issue-specific support groups from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Cost for the groups vary but are provided free for anyone unable to pay. Pre-registration for groups is required at atgrace.com/ccn. A limited amount of childcare will also be available.
Also provided will be free personal and professional services such as hair styling, financial planning, career experts, and occasionally a medical doctor who will provide private consultations. A clothing closet ministry will also be offered the third Thursday of every month.
