Youth baseball group
Registration is still open for Armstrong/Cooper Youth Baseball Association summer baseball.
ACYBA offers house league and traveling baseball for players ages 13-15, as well as traveling teams for players ages 16-19. All District 281 residents are eligible to play.
Registrations are accepted online at acybaseball.com, or in person during the ACYBA player evaluations at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5 at Sandburg Middle School.

FHF softball tourney
The Father Hennepin Festival National Qualifier softball tournament will be held June 8-10 in Champlin.
The double elimination tournaments will be played at the Men’s D/E division, the Women’s D division and a Mixed D division.
The entry fee for the tournament is $160.

CDAA football signup
Youth football registration is now open online for those looking to play football for the Champlin Dayton Athletic Association.
All participants are now asked to register online through cdaasports.org. Equipment will be distributed in August.
The CDAA has added a Kindergarten program this year, which will be designed as an introductory program.

CDAA track program
The Champlin/Dayton Athletic Association is bringing back it’s Track and Field program for a third year.
The program is designed for boys and girls ages 7-14, and will be conducted during three clinics May 3, 5 and 10 that will be run by the Champlin Park High School track and field coaches and athletes.
Cost for the track and field clinics $25, and includes a 2012 CDAA Track and Field t-shirt.

Adult golf league
The New Hope Village Golf Course has a number of adult golf leagues available to play in this spring and summer.
Registration for all of the leagues began April 2. The league runs through Aug. 20.
Golfers may register by phone with a major credit card by calling 763-531-5178, by visiting the golf course at 8130 Bass Lake Road.
Ice Forum open skate/hockey
The Champlin Ice Forum will offer numerous opportunities to skate indoors this winter.
Open skating sessions run 10-11:45 a.m. Monday through Friday, 6:30-8 p.m. Saturday and 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday.
Cost for open skating is $5 for adults and $4 for students, children and seniors. Skate rental is also available for $3.
Open hockey sessions are 6-7 a.m. Friday and 9:30-10:30 p.m. Sunday. Cost is $5 for skaters. Goalies play for free.
